What a deal at Best Buy! Only $70 bux? Marked down from $299? I shoulda known something was up. I've flown my share of drones in 5+ years, and had a few crashes. Sure the Rova looks good on paper. Beautiful design, snappy case, 1080p camera etc. The promo video of cute models and ballerinas smiling as the little butterfly flits around the party taking photos and vids, yea right. Don't believe it. Phony as a $3 bill. I guarantee nobody's partying when this noisy, dangerously uncontrollable monstrosity's in the air. The wifi app works **sometimes**, and when it fails for various reasons, instead of landing when it loses signal, the monster shifts into high gear, crashing into walls, windows and people. Even with the 'rotors in a cage' design, the props are dangerous, as previous reviews have stated. I read all the warnings, know to be careful around spinning props, and still ended up with a bloody thumb. I got off light. I figured surely the hardware update and calibration would improve performance. WRONG! Still flies lopsided, noisy, and unpredictable to the point of danger when used as advertised. As I said, run away from this thing, it'll clip ya! I'm inclined to suggest 'False Advertising' IOT GROUP. $70 bux I'll never see again. Lesson learned.
Kogan is selling them for $39 plus postage and all spare parts etc...
