The fact that the Clearvue Glass has 2 sheets of glass with an interlayer that is quite thick as a standard Commercial grade. It has some insulating qualities over thinner laminated glass without the thick interlayer.

The Clearvue active interlayer needs to be thick to collect the UV. So the use of the laminated glass with the thicker center has Power savings for heating and cooling, thus adding to the viability of going for this thickness of glass.

So if you factored the energy savings for using the thicker glass, it saves power. Then add the Power thats generated if you also get the PV Solar collection on the edges of the glass it adds power.

So you save power going the thicker glass, then generate extra power from the PV Clearvue tech. So you get a double cost saving in power to offset the outlays over time.

All in all its Viable for some Projects World Wide, so once it gets a foothold it should eventually become mainstream with likley possible government subsidys or incentive backups.

They will find a way to package and market this so it is taken up.

Science already says within 50 years almost all Electrical power will come from Solar, the Sun is the biggest energy source our Earth has access to that dosnt pollute and emit Carbon.
