The Chan Dynasty was once a very powerful country.
They now have returned. They are very smart people. With communist rule and JiPing at the helm - they plan 200 years ahead while the rest of the world makes populist decisions at the detriment of their relative countries just to be re elected for another term - while the rest of the world were suffering post GFC China was surging.
This was amazing timing for the Chinese to surge to the number 2 ranking global economy. Commentary suggests it is not sustainable and their system will fail - I suggest not - they are patient and very very smart.
When the British Empire ruled and led the industrial revolution it was only by colonizing other countries to secure it's resources and labour. China is in every part of the globe securing it's resources - it has the labour and their almost ruthless education system creates the best minds.
They have now curtailed production in mining. They have created new vast cities throughout their empire to unclutter the population. After all it is no good creating the worlds greatest economy and the masses of people can not breathe.
Now - and it has been for some time - previously iron ore - coal - copper but more so with rare earths - graphite - uranium - niobium and the like at present they are shutting down mining operations and for the Chinese it's just like going to Home Pro or the super market of the world where if they don't own a part of - or a majority of the mining company with products they need - then they soon will.
Only the Chan would conjure up and spend big creating and establishing a new island in the South China Sea. Very very strategic indeed - they are always on the front foot.
They create proxies all around the globe in strategic positions all state owned. Just quietly securing and sourcing all the state needs or needs to know - meddling in policy - you name it.
When Russia does it - it's all over the media. Guess Putin does like the limelight.
Not the unassuming Chinese - just quietly going about it.
sorry for my ramblings - rough night sleep again - damn chronic pain.
