    Actually 36K with the cgt discount.  All stocks held for at least 18 months.
    I see two benefits.
    1. Lowers the cgt to my estate on my demise.
    2. Allows me to very rapidly change my investments without incurring cgt if I liquidate a large chunk on the portfolio.
