It's being sold to the public as technological advancements for our 'convenience'. And the younger generations are blindly following this edict, without question, because that's all they know (eg. few of them have experienced an economic recession or read books such as 1984, Brave New World, Animal Farm, Fahrenheit 451 and Manufacturing Consent etc). Also they don't know who Edward Snowden is and even if they do they either don't care or don't understand what he sacrificed for society's betterment. A cashless world is not only already set in motion, it is ultimately inescapable.

Then try and prove how much was in you cloud banking account when the lights go out.
Being in heaps of debt is the only way to go if it all goes belly up who cares how much you were in deficit to the banks they may even waiver your debt.
