Talk about jumping the gun on the announcement this morning! Numbers tell us a fair bit about the continuity of the resource both at depth and along the length of the strike. Incredibly even thickness and ridiculously high grade of the massive magnetite in the Central Pit is best case scenario. Avg grade 1.16% (improving on the current 1.1% indicated HG zone) with low standard deviation and very shallow oxidation.
Southern Zone not currently included in mined pits again very consistently high grade - avg 1.08% with very shallow oxidation again confirmed.
The description of the extended inferred resource both at depth and to the south of the existing inferred portion aligns with how I read the initial drill announcement also so happy with what I've put out there. 45MT plus giving the magic 30y initial life that typically gives best bang for drilling buck on a DCF basis. Undoubtedly the target which of course cannot be stated.
The geotech side 100% positive so far with benefits coming in lower long term strip ratio / opex in the DFS.
Previously announced release timeline (IP interview) including the resource upgrade on track... I mistook that assays would be able to deliver this immediately sorry Troyd and anyone else
Cheers.
