Given the alternatives the announcement beats a slap in the face with a wet fish, I guess. One thing is for sure, there will be a growing appetite for cheap perovskite solar if they can get electrons flowing, Asian countries are queuing for Australia's to supply green electricity (Indonesia) and hydrogen via NH3, S. Korea, Japan etc and we have both the technology and vast solar potential to provide it.
