They are pipelines, not baubles. They were built by thousands of people including super funds who stumped up their own capital and took all the risk.
These pipelines now facilitate the transport of gas.
Much of that gas is hauled underb government regulation and pricing
Next you will be calling for Toll holdings to be nationalised.
To call these pipelines assets of the country is no different to nationalising your house
