A bit of info so you know I’m not full of crap.

For you non-technical people here is a bit of info on hydrogen compared to other compressed liquid gases.

To compress enough hydrogen in a given tank to give a car a viable range greater than an EV, the tank would need to be both large and also engineered to hold immense pressures - expensive to manufacture and also incredibly dangerous in an accident. On the freeways of Australia you will occasionally see a BOC gases truck with semi behind with 9 custom made length cylinders stacked in 3x3 configuration (or something like that). This is a hydrogen transport tanker. The reason why its not one huge vessel like LPG is due to these huge pressures. Each one of those 9 cylinders is custom made from one billet of steel - incredibly expensive! Put your hand up if you’d like to be within 100m of a car when a tank like that ruptures in an accident?
