To clear up the formalities, there has been a re-shuffling of the ‘peoples board’, more around clarification of roles and responsibilities then anything else. Review your current peoples board below. We believe there is approximately 30 more roles to fill, so please do not hesitate in coming forward.

Please make yourself available for the ‘peoples board’ meeting that will be held:

Meeting to be held at 10am (Brisbane time) on Friday 30 November 2018 at the office of Minter Ellison, Level 22, Waterfront Place, 1 Eagle Street, Brisbane, Qld 4000.

Naturally, there is an expectation that you are suitably attired. There is an expectation for a dress code to suit the climate;

1. Thongs and I am discussing footwear – shoes are far too hot in Bris-Vegas!

2. Oversized suit with no business shirt to allow for a cool breeze

3. Top hat to cater for extreme sun

4. Beer Cooler-Need I provide an explanation for this?

5. Other accessories or items of clothing – please put to the board for review. It may be sitting in the review items for some time, but in line with our current ethos, we do promise to make decisions within a ten-year timeframe, the ‘peoples board’ has far more pressing matters in this current month.

Pressing Matters for this Month

There is an issue of a shortfall of funds to help build a coal mine. If anyone has any friends with a few dollars spare, we are currently organising a collection. So far there is $13.75 in the pot, and the good news is this has been building rapidly since 7:45am this morning. If you have any suggestions such as a chook raffle or other fundraising thoughts, please put forward the ideas in our ‘peoples board’ suggestion box.

I hear the rumour mill is spreading that ‘The Peoples Chair’ is prepared to put forward his signed 2013 NSW state of origin jersey, yes this is a losing jersey, but its for a good cause.

Please add your ideas to the suggestion box. To make sure the moderators here on HOT COPPER don’t get wind of this latest uprising in the form of the ‘peoples board’, your peoples board has had to go to great lengths to disguise our suggestion box. The ‘suggestion box’ that is left open to public may cause much conflict and to be frank, an uproar! So, if you look carefully down on the ‘bottom right’ of my post, there you will see our suggestion box in disguise.
