Why will 1st Sam vote in favour of the performance rights resolutions? They will, so why?

If it's such an emphatic 'no' from us retail punters, then why will the equivalent of the top 20 and then some all vote 'yes'? There's nothing in it for them/us until the SP heads North.

If the vesting conditions should be upgraded to 500 KTPA @ 62% FE, then why don't 1st Sam vote 'no' to 400 KTPA @ 58% FE?

There is obviously a clear divide in sentiment between retail and insto/soph investors in this stock and no one is questioning why.
