ok, I agree now as I've also asked him and he confirmed that it includes the offer and the take-up of shortfall by existing holders (I think that the announcement could have been worded better saying how many of the 1:7 were taken up and how many additional shortfall shares were taken up by existing s/h).
He did say that there is demand for the shortfall and that any placement would not be at a discount - but I've got a feeling that he may wait a bit to do so.
My thoughts are that this RI was a reward to the loyal s/h who wanted to take it up as there will be some good news coming in the next 2 months.
