Just looking at that issue of the rise and rise and ....of Elizabeth Hunt, the long serving Company Secretary. Back on January 30th Director Peter Peebles resigned and his place as a Director was replaced by Elizabeth Hunt who also remained Company Secretary. That must have been a decision of convenience. That lasts until 13th June when it is announced that Elizabeth Hunt is resigning as a Director but remains as the Company Secretary. Then almost a couple of months later, on 29th August, the announcement is made that Elizabeth Hunt is resigning as Company Secretary to be replaced by Miss Aida Tabakovic. (getting too hot in the kitchen ?) Basically the following week, on September 7th, the Trading Halt announcement comes which is the start of a series voluntary suspension extension announcements with questions being asked by the ASX.

Meanwhile over at Manalto (MTL) there had been ASX investigations going on into the relationship between the Directors (Terence Clee and co. ) and the Everblu mob. While it seems that the ASX came to the decision that the MTL Board needed to do certain things to get approval for their actions and so long as those things were done then MTL would be let off the hook. Yet on 28th August an announcement is made that Miss Aida Tabakovic would be replacing Elizabeth Hunt as Company Secretary as she had resigned.

So why, after several years as Company Secretary of these two companies would Elizabeth Hunt step aside in favour of one of her employees?

Was she feeling the heat of the ASX enquiries?

I'm not usually a conspiracy theorist but the decisions here are intriguing.
