With a little bit of research you can quickly find news articles on graphite mines and processing facilities in China that have closed because the use of hydrofluoric acid has been banned in some provinces. Hydrofluoric acid is a terribly toxic and corrosive chemical. Fortunately, Christoph Frey has developed a hydrofluoric acid-free purification process, and thankfully he works for us.
Anyway, I have digressed from the subject of this thread. Thank Frey we have EcoGraf to fall back on if Epanko doesn’t work out (which will only happen if the Regulations are simply unworkable).
