Of course measured daylight hours are required for greenhouse growth, but you could also use that power generated to operate air conditioning or a dehumidifier to irrigate the soil further. You could very likely grow vegetables in the middle of the sahara desert if you bring in the right soil and equipment.At the risk of getting a smack on the hand by the mods, take a look at Roots Sustainable (ROO) just to get an idea of what tech is in use for greenhouse growing.
