I have been following the conglomerate story for a while now, theory as per novo technical report is that it looks to be basin wide however it does not appear to be uniform, there appears to be patches of high grade gold and other patches that are not so rich and probably un-economical.
We should get result from novo by the end of this month, providing grades of a large number of bulk samples taken from the gold bearing layers of the conglomerate at CW and Purdy's reward. It appears there are multiple layers ranging from 30cm to 1 meter thick from what we have been told at this stage.
The samples in novos technical report from last week look very average around 1.5gpt (50kg samples even less) however, the small bulk samples from Purdy’s reward around 50 x 300kgs from memory samples were taken vertically through the entire conglomerate sequence, the samples to be release soon will be lateral (horizontal) samples taken from the gold bearing layers these should provide more meaningful grades of the areas that will be targeted for mining so conglomerate could still be a winner.
Now onto munni munni, it appears to a continuation of the conglomerate strike that starts at Purdys and goes through Comet Well and there is roughly 60kms of surface contact running thru munni munni, although no guarantees I think it is pretty likely that there are some high grade areas within that strike worth mining (if CW and purdy’s turn out to be that is) ARV should have some exploration results within 6 months should the novo samples due in a few weeks deliver the goods I would imagine.
Another thing to consider, the conglomerate is very hard! Novo is now shifting a lot of focus to areas where the conglomerate has eroded and the nuggets are in much softer gravel allowing for much cheaper processing, these kind of areas appear to be what a lot of ARV’s patch 47k is like hence they were able to recover a lot with a small amount of basic earth moving and detecting. (roughly $200,000 worth) see news release https://hotcopper.com.au/threads/ann-comet-well-west-conglomerate-gold-update.4212165/#.W8VuM6YzaUk which also maps munni munni contact. I don’t know the typography of munni munni but there is also the chance of the eroded east to mine stuff if there are low lying areas under eroded conglomerate contact.
