In regards to technical trading it's my belief that a top down approach is best. If you are trading the daily chart then weekly analysis is preferred. if trading a 3 minute chart then 15min, 30min and 1hr are used for higher timeframe momentum/sentiment. Always being aware of significant higher period s/r.
