I dont get this point. The current economic sweet spot for memory according to a Leti presentation is 28nm. After that costs go up per chip not down at this point. You want volume sales at present they are at 40nm and 28nm. Yes you can aim for lower since chipmakers need embedded memory at whatever scale they are producing at but dont expect that your 10nm device will be cheaper to make.
