@imback, excellent analysis ! You have explained in detail what I have been complaining about for some time.
Do you then agree that “his apparent lack of ability to self assess his trades” is the same reason he is increasing his holding in a fund that is going nowhere and that he is unable to assess that as long as he persists with the same strategy, his money and our fund will go nowhere ? I know Steve Johnson of Forager is a great one for looking at his biases and the psychology of investing, but it would appear that JB has absolutely no insight whatsoever into the gaps in his strategy and I just wonder if there is anyone else at ALF who has the moral and intellectual strength to tell JB he is wrong. Just out of curiosity what is the “BB” you referred to ?
