note: the economic cycle we're in is subject to debate, but I believe the next stage of the cycle will bring a major currency/credit crisis similar to 1893. I consider doing well as retaining parity to pricing pre-shock. Anything less than parity is seen as negative, likewise, over parity, is rather positive (like gold in 2008 onwards)
