It has had a tremendous rise, so people that sold out today decided to sell out of stocks they were making money on. Unless you bought Santos shares more than 2 years ago, you would be sitting on a very nice profit.
So with some uncertain times ahead on the market, STO shares were hit for this reason I believe.
They may come down a bit more depending on what happens in the Dow Jones but should get back to the mid $7 range in the next month or so.
