Hi SF, agree with that. Although the "nearology" factor will come into play as the general public don't understand the intricacies or complex nature of Sherritt's Block 10 play in comparison. Coupled with RZ recently stating that the outcome of Sherritt's exploration well is one of 7 near term catalysts, there will be alot of MAY holders eagerly watching our neighbors. There will be an impact on our SP one way or another but this in no way impacts the viability of our prospects or chances of success.....as you rightly point out, it's a completely different beast. This "nearology" theory has been evidenced by some investor jitters on the back of Sherritt's weak performance over the last 12 months, yet the O&G arm only makes up a small portion of the company. Yes their oil production has dropped significantly, mostly due to the Varadero West PSC expiring and having to accept lower % on renewal of 2 other PSC's in the region (Block 9 PSC good for 20yrs). Seems they've had some major problems in other areas of the business too.....so although it's not a great look to see our neighbour copping such a whack, it has no bearing on MAY whatsoever. The market was sickening today and there's more to come, but this is a correction not the bloodbath of 2008 that still haunts investors to this day and inspires them to jump ship at the worst possible time. Takes intestinal fortitude to be a buyer on days like today and if it wasn't Thursday i would've picked some up myself.....but "Friday's are Buydays" for me, especially with the futures market pointing to a further blowoff, so I'll be hopping in line tomorrow.....the US economy is strong and the LT uptrend for oil is still very much in place.....MAY becomes a great buy at these levels IMO....DYOR.
