carbon credits vs food : no brainer 4 food

Chuckle ... no offence folks but this is one of the most ridiculous schemes I have ever come across. Turn land over to growing trees that are unproductive in food or energy, that you can't touch for 100 years when food prices are hyperinflating and energy commodities (including wood) are also hyperinflating. Also locking the land away from capital gains???? You can see why most environmentalists go broke ... teehee! Too funny! Reminds me of the grains based ethanol movement ... a lot of starry eyed, warm and fuzzy types gave their hard earned money to the market. Poor souls ... market always has the final say.
