Obviously no one likes being diluted on raises. However most investors and brokers see the company as 'cum raise' with that in mind, most brokers/investors won't take the risk until there is sufficient cash which explains the drift.

The risk the company takes is do they raise now (at lower levels), and be fully cashed up coming into results.
OR do they wait, HOPE for good results and raise at higher levels. Painting the obvious here but it is an issue mgmt have to battle with.

My gut feeling is a broker may have gotten into their ear, pushed for the raise and promised support on news flow and results. from a broker point of views its an easy sell.

What I would personally like to see is management not blowing out what is a nice tight capital structure, perhaps taking half a raise and if there is good result raising another portion at higher levels (a hedge if you will) a bonus would be a major sticky holder taking a large position as well (escrow)

And god I hope its an okish broker (not a pump and dump)

regardless at the end of the day we need good copper hits, if there are good hits the price will move, if not, you sell and move into the next one.
