I started buying VMY in the low 20s, usual story! Well, then I stopped, because the sp was being overwhelmed by institutional selling. I've watched it drop and drop, albeit with a rally when the spot price started rising, but now it's down to write off levels almost. Seeing Mike put his toe in the water a few weeks a go at 9c I bought a tiny handful at that price this morning.
I agree with the above poster who pointed to the raging bulls on Twitter as a danger sign , and another above who pointed out, as I also have, that it might be a mistake to spend a couple of million up at Alligator Creek, now, when that project is about a future for VMY AFTER Mulga Rock. The first priority must be for VMY to survive (ride out) the current downturn - a CR in the forseeable future can only be a disaster for retail shareholders, again.
What's the thinking at VMY HQ? I'd like to know.
This morning's podcast, as much as I enjoyed it, and as much as I have respect for Mike, didn't shed any light on funding, except right at the very end and I didn't like to sound of that much.
