A very good question. Not only is there a massive lead/silver resource surrounding the high grade core at Abra (at least 90 million tons), I think it is quite likely there is a high grade gold/copper core too (the last deep hit from G1A supports this hypothesis). Given the depth of the gold/copper, it is going to be hard to drill it out from the surface, but once the decline is in place for lead/silver then it will become much more viable to find the high grade gold/copper core.
The bottom line is not only is the market missing the value of the Abra lead/silver core as of right now, it is also missing the long term upside from the massive lower grade lead halo - and this is before we even get to the gold/copper. The high grade lead/silver core is just the "starter pit" that will fund the expansion of Abra. The upside is so massive it is hard to put it in context with the current MC.
There is a very good reason Alex is so excited.
