Definitely not young.
But I don't feel the suggested solutions are utopian.
My concern with a lot of environmental debates ,is that things like ev's , and roof top solar, suck up resources which would , if used in programs to reduce overall energy consumption, would produce faster and better outcomes.
Just because not everybody can use public transport , or lives in a city( frankly those people are the least likely to go electric anyway), doesn't mean that we shouldn't be using our resources to get the best environmental outcome.
An example of how things can go off track: you put a recycling system into a community and all of a sudden people no longer feel guilty or as aware, of the increasing use of plastic.
