And that's from surface to 60m. That is the key to VMC success with their V. Also there is no difficult oil shale, or vertical dipping magnetite ore bodies or high grade but narrow veins.

The other huge factor in our vanadium future are the uses for V (and the price of course).
1. Ideal constituent for stronger and corrosion resistant rebar, sold to steel makers in a ferro-vanadium concentrate.
2. The best electrolyte for Redox Flow Batteries, which will be ideal for network sized installations to provide dispatchable base load.
3. New uses such as RMIT's thin film coated window glass, which is toted to reduce AC and heating costs in buildings.
