Your comment is compete nonsense.
NPV is the effective price of the project in todays $$ (valuation).
It's the same concept as a property developer putting in a DA for a construction project and increasing the value of a land project. The developer could if they choose do the project themselves or on-sell the project to someone else. MNS could choose to do a little of both... Someone else pays for the development costs and takes a % ownership of the project.
NPV is a value after costs have been recovered so if you understand anything about projects then you will understand what I'm referring to above.
