Thanks MarketInfo, and I did follow your link and read the paper (it is a bit beyond me though). Your help is much appreciated. There was a statement in it towards the end which said something like: there probably have been multiple intrusive events that occurred between the two well-understood periods (the names of the events escape me but they are separated by about 500 million years). It seems that in the Broken Hill region, copper and related metals have been less of a priority for explorers and researchers, because they were focused on the lead/zinc minerology and its events. So there is quite a gap in knowledge, which is being worked on now. Copper Bow is being described as a new style of mineralisation(?) and I am not sure how it relates to the Thackaringa group or style. BPL mentioned SCI's work at Copper Blow in its recent announcement. A team effort by companies and researchers may be needed? Love to read your comments or corrections, amigos.
