Whew !!! Not saying it is impossible . Escondita is bigger with an estimated 32 million tonnes of recoverable copper ( 2012 )
However have to say it is very very unlikely .
Does however show that there is plenty of potential if the zone was continuous and widespread .
No doubt there would be a lot of eyes watching what is going on here .

OOPS forgot to multiply by 5 so .
8437 Million tonnes of ore and about 150 million tonnes of copper .
Rest of the post the same , just more so .
If only nature was that kind . We would have by far the worlds biggest copper mine .
