I reckon Zinc-Air & Hydrogen fuel cell vehicles could offer a better value proposition than battery powered electric vehicles especially where long range is required (here in Australia).
As for commercial Zinc-Air batteries, it looks like grid storage will be the primary use. Things will probably change when a working rechargeable form of Zinc-Air battery is produced.
Just a note - from their website - regarding rechargeability. So I think this means they are on par with lithium when it comes to rechargabitiliy.
