RAMs was in run off too, and it didn’t do too badly.
350,000 customers is not exactly insignificant, whatever the lapse rate. I’m sure that a model will re emerge for them to sell funeral insurance within the next 9-12 months.
St Andrew is the wild card - there are good arguments both ways as to whether it will go ahead. All that can be said with certainty is that they haven’t announced it isn’t.
