As predicted several months ago the price of petrol/diesel in Oz is rising at a rapid rate off the back of our low dollar, geopolitical happenings and the increasing cost of oil. Given our constant frustration about EV take-up in Australia that will change faster than anticipated when pump prices breach the $2 per lit mark - expected mid next year in my opinion. Folks are already complaining bitterly about the recent fuel rise, but wait until $2 comes into play and the economic imperative of EVs sparks the hip-pocket of Australian motorists - at about the same time as dealers are introducing a slew of new pure electric and hybrids EVs into the OZ market. The stars are surely aligning for lithium with the ravenous hunger for home storage batteries, peaker grid batteries and EVs all around the world. The final star in the cosmos of lithium demand is about to align with rising fuel prices. And the rest is history! - as will be ICE.

On other news, our ABC did a splendid job of promoting South Australia's big Tesla peaker battery tonight on the looped news. And Tesla shares bounced - some say off the deal Elon did with the SEC. Others off the back of Elon's circa $2oo million bucks worth of free advertising .
