Yeah it's pretty easy to misinterpret. The semi-solid-state will not be commercially viable for a few more years. C4Vs patented IP in the form of Gen1 will be commercially available first half 2019. This Gen3 battery is still being developed and undergoing testing. Years of work involved. Good to see they've made a start on it.
AAnd yes, IP is owned byC4V, though exclusivity right belongs to IM3
