This is a great point. It could be suggested that:

1) AVQ weren't confident it was across the line and weren't as organised as they could have been.

And/or...

2) RM has exhausted financing options previously, hence why the finance deals have been so bad due to desperate measures just to stay afloat. IMHO - the finance deals probably available, if any, won't be attractive as this would be still very high risk.
