Couldn't agree with you more @goldscraper . It certainly does feel at times like the ASX seemingly wants small investors to loose money. This would make sense to a degree when one considers that in the balance of each trade, there ultimately has to be a Winner and a Looser. And after all the ASX is no doubt in bed with the the ' Brokers ' who are in turn in bed with the ' Big Money ' end of town by way of the Insto's , the high net worth individuals and inner circle of sophisticated investors.

So in situation like these folks I tend to use the ' C.R.E.M.A.T.I.O.N ' method. You'll find it in SB's Doctrine of Investing Principles - and you'll see it in the Final Chapter ......in the first series..... right up there on the page with the K.I.S.S method......

    The ' CREMATION ' method is interpreted and defined as : - Chronologically - Reviewing -Executives - Manipulating - Acute - Trades - Inside - Organisation(s) - Normatively

And so what SB's doctrine basically says folks is that if after applying the ' Cremation ' method to ones investing strategies to no avail , and should all else fail in deriving satisfaction from applying this method - then SB's doctrine follows that one must then : - Burn the Bastards !

In all seriousness folk's and I'll say it again - whilst it does look bad , there is no way that HDY with $1.9 million in the bank as at 30 June 2018 will not be allowed to trade in its securities again. Once again , it looks like the matter will be referred on to ASIC , and I would imagine for a please explain from the TOV panel. This is the only thing that comes to my mind that would indeed explain the extreme's of this present situation. It is my opinion that should this be the case, it will definitely be to our obvious advantage when HDY resumes trading. However be prepared for it to take some additional time for this to play out. I don't think we are looking at another WFE though - but who knows.

I would also suggest that it is now quite clear that this matte is totally unrelated to the coincidental suspension of VIC. Hang tight folk's - she'll be right.......
