$110AUS Brent poo is driving the STO train and it is going to be hard to stop
They cut costs, issued over a billion shares, got GLNG up and running, received a AUS $13B takeover offer, offloaded excess assets and now they sit at an APPROX AUS $14B and rising market cap making approx AUS $1 B free cash flow p/a maybe more in future so it's all about the forward earnings and the appetite for risk.. On present free cash, the market applies a ratio somewhere between 12-16 on future free cash it's much less and that's why STO is creeping
The T/O was fair but it was definitely opportunistic.. those who invested knowing this are now reaping the cap gains steadily as she goes
STO in the box seat at the dusk of the fossil fuel age before the dawn of new energy that is still 20-30 years away IMHO
