the rest, well, thats just what happens. Sophisticated investors are not strategic partners. they are not your best friends. they simply want a profit on their script, and need discount to flip it on market to retail, pump, hype, FOMO. They have plent of other deals they can flip profits for, than be your long term investor. thats for retail chumps who believe it never rains.

that said, i am not debating the merits of the stock, simply the backdrop of the sp, and what occurs typically behind cr curtains.

If the rabbits ruled the world, and it was yippie ye ha, it would be sailing higher ? so that tells you that the wolves are there, and spitting out the rabbits for breakfast.

If you're an insto, or a soph, and you get the chance to sell this into the naive retail rabbit, and replace that script for less, then flog it off again. why not ?

Now you consider this to be value ? perhaps, but that is different to the CR. CR want discount, and capacity to flip it, than hold long.

Anything, and everything can go wrong anywhere, so the true long investor is a chump.
But, recognizing a value re-rate for a medium term hold is imo a safer way to manage risk, and your capital.
