If I am between 60-67, do not work, have super in an industry fund and hold dividend producing shares outside of super then 18k2 is the tax free threshold. Yes or no? On current tax rules, any fully franked dividends over this amount to 37k is taxed at 19c in the dollar, which means the tax dept owes me 11c for every dollar earned between 18 and 37k.
Once again, yes or no?
This is the system ....... this is the game we play!
