The ABC centre were making money and the current fuss is not related to the centre's usefulness or appeal.
Once the money issues are resolved ABC should return to a respectable sp (IMO), so where are you coming from - obviously making up a lot of stuff, i.e. no references and no correlation to the viability of the ABC centre to before the current mess started?
BTW: If ABC business/model was so bad would the yanks still be interested in the US operations?
