In case anyone else is interested in retrospectives I am sharing this information from 2012.
The reason for my interest is NRW Holdings seems to me to be in an extremely powerful position at the moment.  There is plenty of mining work afoot but more than that we are still at the start of an enormous civil infrastructure boom that, if all goes well, will feed NRW with work for years to come .

Others wiser than me think this way too ; I looked at the portfolio of our new investor,  Paradice,  and saw Worley Parsons, Emeco and Downer already tucked away in funds there

In 2012 NRW was also in a very strong position.
In fact stronger  with half yearly results published Feb 24 2012 noting a workforce of 3,719 people, half year revenue of $610.4 M,  net HY profit of  45.3 M  and an order book of $1.67 B
There were 20 projects on the go .

The share price was $2.83 on Jan 13, 2012 and had jumped to $3.17 on Feb 3, 2012  after the 2012 half year results .
It was back to $2.96 on June 8, 2012- after, (as @Josh01  noted elsewhere ) a veritable storm of institutional buying that took the company to a price peak, closing at  $4.24 on April 20, 2012  on news of $125 M off new  contracts on April 19, 2012.

Will such institutional brinkmanship come into play again?  
Was over $4 an unreasonable fundamental valuation ? ( market cap must have been over $1.2B.)
And where is the company headed this time round?
