DeLorean really did nothing new. A radical new shape and a stainless steel body with an off the shelf Renault drive train is not all that innovative.

Tesla, on the other hand is still leading the EV world. (And BTW, I’m no Musk fan boy!) I’ve held off buying an S100D because of my aversion to Musk the snake oil salesman.

To date almost every other mass produced EV is plug ugly. Have you seen the BMW i3 or a Nissan Leaf? Is there some Law that states healthy food must taste like cardboard and “Green” cars must look like Sarah H-Y?
