The cost of residential electricity in China is 11 cents per KWh. That’s correct, Eleven Cents cents per KWh. They import Australian coal and gas to power their generators.

Keep that number in mind when next you pay your electricity bill. 11 cents. Also, I’m not even sure their electricity bill has a seperate “wires and poles” component that we do.

Never try and tell me that renewables are cheap. They are anything but.

So why has our power cost always been so high when that same coal here delivered to the power station is only 2c a tonne?
I find that hard to believe but it came from Mudguts so it's a reliable source.
2c a tonne!
