"A number of months"

Okay so we dissected in detail what possibly the word "imminent" meant and we all failed miserable including Fred Bart.

The announcement on the 29th August says that the next stage"............. needs to be improved before any customer and public demonstration. This effort, expected to take a number of months.............."

In this phrase I presume Fred is taking a start point of 4th July when "Hallelujah" was heard.
So how many months is a number of months ?
A couple of months would be 2-4 months and I would suggest a number of months would be a longer period possibly 3-6 months. Probably no longer otherwise he would have used other terms like next calendar year.

Start date 4th July therefore would mean an end date of anywhere between October - December.
That also ties in with Danny's interview with his "touch wood' end of year for demonstrations statement.
