Maybe if they were buying their shares back at 2.50 it might be so. Rights issue priced around 30% discount appears high imo.
BGA done placement yesterday to institutional investors and spp to reduce debt at discount of around 10%.
Its possible rights issues have larger discounts to please all shareholders but it dilutes eps and impacts share price.
