It's mostly that we're saving for house - we fell off the property ladder a few years back - so our goal is to get together enough for a small unit in the next few years. When we were back on our feet the market had became unaffordable - so now the current plan is to take the equivalent of a mortgage payment each month and buy shares. Our capital gains have doubled our money (and obviously tax will need to be paid on that), but I got super excited and wound up with a lot (about half) of my money in SFG, so I'm pushing fresh cash into different opportunities at the moment. Those who follow me can probably guess which company currently has my attention
