Anyone participating will have to wait a few weeks to get their shares unless they pay and apply just before close which would be the smart play but maybe not as smart as buying in the market the small cost of brokerage is overlooked for the instant access to the shares in case a quick sale is necessary. There is almost a 100% chance the sellers will keep the pressure on til the last minute.
