Morning,
what you missed is an absoutely orgastrated effort to keep a cap on the share price
look at the initial trades -- particularly the 1 share before a drop below 23
that's called manipulation - no matter what the technical means is.
and, as to egeria's post --
"Not only that, if you trace back the announcements over a year or so, there has been a fair few unfounded remarks, asx investigation reissued statements etc etc. That stuff as small as it may seem really hurts the company. "
difficult to disagree with that -- and, if one looks at it in detail -
again - one has to come to the conclusion that someone has been approaching the ASX to complain -
the question is 'why?'
look to the actual clarifying anns. from BRB that the ASX accepts --- and, compare them to the initial announcements --
there is bugger all difference -------- meaning that someone either has their little knickers in a knot because they got burned (probably) - or it's part of a ploy to suppress the share price (possibly - and, possibly connected)
now, if the ASX had any balls or decent system at all - it would be looking at just who and who for, is doing the bot trades - and, see if there is any connection to whoever was complaining.
there is no question that BRB has a solid gold find here - and, although the gold market sentiment in general is low -- a very good announcement sold into by manipulation should be questioned.
