If people buy into NST expecting big dividends, they're going to end up horribly disappointed.
That said, I much prefer a company with significant cap gain than impressive-looking divvies. Especially when said cap gains are made by making astute business decisions and using shareholder capital wisely. TBH, I'd be happy to completely forego my divvies in NST if it meant that Bill and his team could keep running the show the way they have been, and build some serious value for us shareholders along the way.
